Welcome home! My dad arrived home this past weekend after his 6 week, 16,000 km motorcycle ride though North America! I made a post previously when my dad started his trip. He had hooked up his GPS so we could track him in real time across the continent. It sounds like quite the trip, he has pictures from every day and an overall summary on his website — I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Eric and I are planning on transferring many of our pictures and posts from our old sites to this one. It will be a long and arduous process, but well worth it once complete. So far, I have put together a few albums from my time at Waterloo. The albums include trips to Montreal, Winnipeg, and Ottawa, as well as convocation and the iron ring ceremony and stag.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday and Father’s day on Saturday. Yes, we combined the two… ‘bad kids’ as my mom would say, but Mo’s only home on the weekends. We had a nice dinner and baked a terrific cake.

On Saturday June 17th, Jack, Eric, and I attended the Sound of Music Festival by the Burlington lakefront. It was a little too hot to spend the day outdoors, but we survived. Although we didn’t spend too much time there, we did manage to catch a great band named Daylight for Deadeyes.

My cousin Liz and her husband Don had a baby Saturday morning! Emily Elizabeth was born at 7:17 am, 7 lbs 15 1/2 ozs. Everyone is doing well.
